I love this photo!!! Laying on hot pavement at 3 am for like half an hour (I love slow-exposure B&W photography) was never so rewarding as it was this time.
The funny thing? That's my adopted brother, Damien's foot in that boot...he's the queerest guy I know and a real sweetheart.
Some friends and I were hanging out in the driveway and he came out of the house in those boots, walking the swishiest, girliest walk you've ever seen. I just HAD to photograph those boots! So I got him under a streetlight down at the corner and SNAP! His foot and his super-gay boot were immortalized.
